Regardless of how small it may seem, or how much others will seek to negate the importance of your presence in the digital space and beyond, these acts aren't negligible. If anyone tries to discount this work as "armchair activism" or "slacktivism," remind them that these are different times and that we are in a new age. Tell them to call this what it is: DIGITAL MOBILIZATION AND SUPPORT.
So, stay vocal, keep disrupting comfort, call officials, donate to causes, and—if you can—don't stop there, as there is always more work to be done.
MOVEMENTS DON'T HAPPEN IN A VACUUM: THERE IS ALWAYS THE MOMENT, ITS PRECURSOR, AND THE AFTERMATH. SO, LET'S NOT TAKE FOR GRANTED ANY STEP ALONG THE WAY.
